Local Mallorcan Delicacies Pinchos - A small slice of bread topped with a tapa - many varieties. Sobrasada - Spicy pork sausage. Ensaimada - Light sweet pastry dusted with icing sugar usually eaten for breakfast. Large ones sold at bakeries filled with cream, custard or pumpkin jam and boxed for transporting. Gato de almendras - Almond cake served with almond ice cream. Hierbas - Locally brewed aniseed flavour liqueur, sweet, semi or dry. Carajillo con Amazona - Small strong coffee with locally brewed sweet rum or for something more mellow try carajillo with Baileys.
